"Wait Reishien dont go alone"...I coughed up some water...Midnight came to stand next to me..."And thanks for saving me but still dont go out alone"...I stood shakily up...

"but you're too weak now rika, and syrix is soaked."
i said hastily.

"i need to go."
and she disappeared into the forest.

"i sure hope i made the right decision. this is what you would have done, right grandma?

I tried to stop her but I couldnt...I slammed my fist into the ground..."Damnit"..I cursed...Midnight stood besides me and helped me a bit up...

Elayn lay there on the ground, weeping. She had promised her self never to weep again. This would have never happened had she never came on this adventure. Why did they do this to her, why? She heard Reishien and she looked up. Seeing who it was, she turned her head away, not wanting to be seen like this. She said in a strained voice, "Go away." She continued to lay there, with her shoulders shaking every time she cried.

"elayn... you had us worried there."
reishien said kneeling down.

"you know it's all right. i'm you're friend. and no matter what happens, i'll be here to help you whatever happens."
reishien said, reaching out her hand.
she touched elayn's cheeks, and mover her head so as she could see elayn clearly.

"you know, i also hurt when you cry... i can feel your pain. but no matter where we are, who we are, and how we are, pain will always be there. it's how we deal with it that counts. that's why we're here... we're you friends. lets get through the pain together."
she said, wiping off elayn's tears.

"see, now doesn't that feel better"
she released elayn's head and sat beside her in a kneeling position. she tilted her head to the right and smiled.

"i'm your friend, we're all your friends. and no matter what you say or do, we will consider you as ours."

Looks at Reishien, tears still flowing down her cheeks. There is a look of sadness, as well as a look of yearning in her eyes.

"How? How can you feel my pain? They were killed in front of me. Everyone I knew, everyone I loved. Taken, just like that. I don't want any more friends, they will just die."

Elayn had put her arms around Reishien and was holding on VERY tightly.

"It hurt so bad. I don't want to feel that pain again. Please just leave me.."

Her words trail off into sobs as she holds onto Reishien.

"i know i cannot sympathize with your hurt and ache. but i can feel it. the reiki flowing through your body is strong, and i can feel your agony. though i cannot completely and fully grasp that feeling, i can feel it."
reishien said, still sitting in front of elayn.

"it was not your fault. and they would have gladly risked their life to see to it that you stay alive. i'm sure they wouldn't want to see you this way. souls never really leave, they are a part of you and who you are. what you do with these souls that flow through you, and that surround you is totally your decision."
she said, reaching out for elayn's hand.

"we're here for you elayn, and no matter what happens, we'll stand beside each other. together, we are stronger."
she held firmly yet lovingly onto elayn's hand.

"come on... i bet they're all worried, specially the priestess."
she gave a smile once more.
