Nyx stood still for a moment. 'A cat person? Nyx looked a wee bit shocked. I have never seen a cat person who could speak telepathically.. Nyx looked up at the rest of the group and noticed something strange. ''THERE IS A..'' Nyx quickly became quite before the guards and what not could notice. 'There is a strange aura on that man's back..
Something started tickling the back of Muea's mind. Someone was blocking psychically. but she couldn't tell where it came from exactly. She approached Totschlager and let him know in a low voice and also let him know that it wasn't one she recognised. Then she dropped back and told Mangus the same thing as well as relaid any orders given by Totschlager.
Drune looks around, trying to take in everything. All this technology far surpassed that of anything his home world had. He kept getting so distracted that one of the guards had to keep pushing him back with the rest of the group. After he got over most of his euphoria, he started to notice the members of his group.
The first character he noticed, was a large, imposing, humanoid in white armor and a red cape. He looked battle hardened, but not like a killer.
The next person he looked at was a humanoid with odd, long, ears that was about his hight. He looked odd, with jade hair that didn't seem dyed.
The next person he spotted, was female. She was short, and with the most amazing hair and eye color. For some reason, she reminded of Menyet, a female angel back on his home planet that he talked to sometimes.
He then took account of the guards around them. The first guard he examined, was the one trailing them. He was also humanoid, and very large at that.
He looked at the large reptile next. It did not look like a stupid animal that just followed directions, but you could never be sure...
The last figure he took into account was what he assumed to the the leader of this little group. He was also an imposing figure, mainly due to his armor.
As they reached their destination, Drune caught a glance at his bracelet and the word "Believe" stared up at him. He remembered stories his mother told him of great warriors. Drune looked up, a look of resolve in his eyes. He would do what they needed him to do. He stood, waiting to hear what Totschlager had to say.
Nyx started humming as she walked like she usually did when she was scared or nervous. Why was she with these strange people? What would become of her? Did the Gardias trick her? Nothing was clear but she examined the people around her like she were glaring at a cell under a scope. Who are these people and why am I with them? She glanced at the male she noticed. Who are you?! DO YOU HEAR ME..if you hear me I will know... Nyx quickly looked away as she noticed the people in front of her slowing down.
Jace followed the gaurds quietly in the group keeping his thoughts to himself. They were now headed for a location uknown to him, most likely to learn of this strange event that threatened the universe. The technology he observed just by the makeup of the walls seemed highly advanced. A spaceage polymer of different alloys and metals that made a nearly indestructable substance seem almost normal. It was extremely advanced.
It reminded him of his home planet many years in the past.
His armor continued to clank as he continued with the group. After awhile without his spiritual guidance the armor would begin absorbing any and all energy it came in contact with. If they were going to do something it would have to be soon. In a matter of hours any control Jace is struggling to maintain with his concrescent energy will be dissapating due to the suppressant implanted in his skull, and this places abundant amount of energy fields would be at risk. It turned out it didnt take that long.
After a few more turns they turned a corner overlooking an enourmous room. Though one of the gaurds blocked his view and he didnt want to try to use the suits unstable power to look past him. He looked towards the group and spoke.
"This is where we shall get this journey under go"
His eyes flashed red mischeviously as if awating a response. Jace crossed his arms and awaited to be instructed, ready to begin whatever lies ahead.
Three. Dum, dum, dum, dum, dum. Four.
There was certinly something around here, a misplaced footfall that didn't fit the pattern. Muea's figure stiffened; just slightly, but still noticeable; before moving forward to talk to Totschlager then to himself. She had confirmed what he suspected.
I hate being blunt! It's makes you that more suspicious and paranoid
They rounded the corner and straight into a large and impressive chamber.
“This is where we shall get this journey undo go.” Totschlager turned to face the group and stared intently at each person with those piercing red eyes.
Magnus tried in vain to move a few steps back from the group, but his cumbersome legs disobeyed his intentions, but no-one paid much attention.
The room was not a mere five by eight foot rectangle that most houses come with these days; this room, if you would like to call it by that loathsome term, opened up like a vast stadium lit under the starry night. The room stretched for a long ways in every direction where the Time Police walking on the other end were nothing more than small silhouettes flushed against the pale gray sheen that was the wall behind them. The room itself was circular with no other doors that led out than the single one the group just passed through, except for the two doors on either end of the room where there were specialized technicians working round the clock, keeping the room in perfect, working condition. About twenty feet from the wall the floor suddenly vanished and was replaced with nothingness, a black, nearly depthless drop. Who could count all that fell from this great height? It didn’t matter; there were casualties and they were always replaced almost immediately. At the center of the hole, suspended by wires from the ceiling and walls, was the most peculiar of items; from the outside it looked to be nothing more than a shiny ball of silver metal that never lost its glow, or, if it did, was instantly re-shined. The orb was about fifty feet in diameter. The room curved upward and in at the walls the further it went up until all points converged at a single location—a needle hanging from the point, pointing directly down at the top of the orb. There was a platform to the left of Totschlager’s group that extended all the way to the orb where a door could be seen imprinted in the metal of the door.
Totschlager spoke to the group, his face hidden behind the mask, his red eyes glowing fiercely…
“Some of you may know what this is…” his gaze penetrated through each of them, falling on each of the convicts in turn and smiled underneath the mask, “while others this isn’t necessarily your first time, this may be your first conscious time in this,” said Totschlager, his voice was firm, his tone humorous. “This is what we use to travel between times and reality: The Rift!”
He waited for some reactions from the ones who had never seen The Rift before.
Totschlager then spoke to Muea through a mic in his helmet; his voice overruled the conversation she was privately having with the mic and helmet previously, if any. “Do nothing, but be on guard. If this was done with magic or energy, your bracelet would have automatically detected it and nullified the cause. This sort of thing is not unknown, however… let’s just leave the possibility open that… I mean—“Totschlager inadvertedely chuckled when a memory appeared, blurred with the voices choppy and indiscernible, and vanished almost as quickly as it came “—there is the possibility that whomever is speaking to you know knows something that we do not. This may be your Reality Twin, but do not believe such things so easily, there is no proof that it exists, just as there is no proof that it does not. Use your judgment.

"Alright ! Everyone in!" shouted Totschlager. He led the way across the bridge and punched several key keys on the numberpad and the door opened. The door split at the ends, smoke receeded from within the orb, light followed soon after. Then the door cut itself in two with one half proceeding up while the other went down. Totschlager entered The Rift and waited just inside for the others to do the same. Through his mic, he called to the tech support: "Launch when everyone is in and seated, we cannot delay another moment." To which Totschlager got a 'Yes Sir!' immediately after.
Inside The Rift was very confortable, the light adjusted personally to everyone's best value, to Totachlager, he was in a nighttime-like scene with stars glittering above. The air was cool, but not cold or warm. Alined with the wall was one long counch with arm rests seperating sections of the couch with some spots firm, others soft, and with the rest just somewhere in between.
Totschlager sat in on one of the firmer sections and motioned for the others just entered to find their pleasure.
Drune looks around for a moment, trying to take in the scope of the room. It was immense, to say the least. He looked at Totschlager, did he just say something about time travel? He had heard that they had discovered it back at Great World, but the technology was destroyed almost as soon as it was discovered, for the Potentia had arisen, and they did not want them to have that kind of power.
Looking into the door Totschlager had opened. It looked odd at first, not realy seaming like the light emanating was real. As he stepped into the room, the lighting changed, taking the appearance of just before sunset, with the air warm. He stopped for a second. The amber light gave a new look to things. It all looked so magnificent. He looked around and saw a sectioned couch. He went over to it and found the softest seat he could find.
"Ah. Wow, this seat is great. So, I was wondering. Where, or when are we going?"
