Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
Kohana wandered aimlessly. Her father told her that she could go around the city, while he attended to his business. It wasn't very often that she was allowed out, so she wasn't going to waste any time of it. Where should she go? Maybe she should go to the book store. She just finished her last book, so she would need something to keep her entertained.
Hey! What about me? I'm here. I talk to you, when you're bored!
That’s my point. I should even be talking back to you. It'll only increase the chance I might talk out loud. You just don't understand what its like. Father hasn't looked at us, since we came home from school. It's like he hates us.
Me, you mean. He doesn't hate you. He hates me.
It was the first time Kohana heard her other self sound sad, but she ignored it. She shut her other self out with all of her might. She didn't resist. At least Kohana would be alone for awhile. She decided to walk around the city's old plaza. It was place she hadn't been to yet, but she had heard of. She didn't know what exactly to expect but it was something she could do, right? She had the right. Besides, her father would be busy and it would be quite awhile before she had to leave.
When she arrived, she had many people give her strange looks. She was part of the higher class, so it couldn't be helped that they looked at her with envy. Everyone here was a commoner. She walked briskly around until she came to the fountain. It dry and gathering dust. Why wasn't their any water? Shouldn't this one have water as well?
She noticed a man, with the same aura as her. He was an aristocrat, just like her. Why was he here? It wasn't common for someone like him, as well as herself, to be in a place like this. It sparked a curiousity in her. She slowly walked over the fountain. She wasn't sure how to approach him exactly. She breathed and walked up to him.
"Excuse me, sir, but do you mind if I sit here with you?" She waited for his reply.
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
For a moment Kazaf did not answer only the agonizing atmosphere around him seemed to fluctuate within the surroudings. He still blankly gazed upwards to the gray polluted skies, which seemed to reflect Kazaf's current emotions towards his current situation with Arcueid. Slowly turning only his head to look at the girl, his piercing light blue eyes that seemed to be x-raying everything gazed at the young girl who stood before him. Although Kazaf was from the aristocracy, something in him made him seem very down to earth but at the same time with an air of intelligence and grace. And to correspond his aura a mysterious husky voice accompanied, raising himself from sitting position he motioned the young girl to sit where he was sitting.
"Of course young noble lady. Please sit here."
Although his voice was irresistable to most women and he used extremely formal speech, affection or emotion for that matter seemed to be lacking. For these emotions only seemed to flow out of his heart when he was talking to Arcueid, his one and only love. The wind began to stir the dust in the floor bringing along trash and dust, even the slightest thing reminded him of his forbidden love. Kazaf missed the plants and flowers Arcueid had created herself and was currently displayed in the manor.
Sighing Kazaf resumed to stare upwards towards the skies, but this time he once more spoke.
"What brings a member of the high society here to a commoners' gathering place?"
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
Kohana made herself quite comfortable. She had been walking around for quite a bit. He was seemed very kind, but he was also being very aloof. It was like he was in another place, other time. But alas, she didn't have enough time to observe him. He asked her a question. It would be very rude to not answer. She thought for a moment. She shouldn't lie, but the truth would seem strange for a lady such as herself. Her mother went out often into city. Would he believe her? It wouldn't hurt to try.
"I don't get out very often. This is one of very rare occasions that I can. I thought it would be nice if found a new place to explore."
She placed her hands in her lap. It wasn't often that she met people like him. Well, it wasn't often that met anyone. Usually when she came into town, she had to stay by Mother's side. If she was lucky, Mother would let her go on her own, if she told her where she went. Of course, sometime her other self would come out, causing trouble.
"If I may ask, sir, what is one such as yourself doing here?" It was the real reason she had came to sit by him. It was better to get the question out of the way, before she bothered him any longer.
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
As Kazaf continued to stare into the air, he seemed to be thinking for a bit. And finally looked at the young lady's face, whom was sitting next to him.
"There is not any real reason, young noble lady. I just wished to step away for abit out of my habitual life."
Once more the air became quite, only the rustling of the wind could be heard as for now most of the commoners had retreated to their homes. As Kazaf surveyed the young lady before him, he noticed that she belonged to the Darcia Family and soon after responded to her about her previous statement.
"Young noble lady, I trust that you are from the Noble House of Darcia not too far from this ancient plaza? I often see Darcia's ruling members busily walking around these parts."
As he awaited for the young girl's answer, Kazaf suddenly remembered that he had not properly introduced himself to the noble girl. Raising himself from the edge of the dried water fountain, he gracefully stood before her; his light blue hair gently swaying against the late afternoon's winds.
"Pardon my rudeness, young noble lady. I have forgotten to properly introduce myself."
Placing his right hand on his chest Kazaf offered her a small bow while looking down at the floor.
"My name is Kazaf from the Noble House of Jagara."
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
Kazaf. He was of the house of Jagara. What were they again? Fighting with raw strength and had mastered a variety of weapons. Yes, that’s what their specialty was. She now examined Kazaf closely, while he bowed. He didn’t seem the type to be with the House of Jagara. Oh! She was being incredibly rude. He had introduced himself, while she hadn’t herself. She did a quick curtsy.
"Then allow me, as well, to introduce myself. My name is Kohana. As you had guess before, I am indeed part of the Noble Darcia family. It is a pleasure to meet you." Out of habit, she brushed her hand through her hair. It was a strange habit, but she had never been able to break it.
"I'm sorry if I troubled you, but I just found it curious that someone else had come her as well. I thought I would be by myself, as of nobility, of course.”
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
Kazaf gazed upon Kohana ever since he was adopted Touya, the Head of the Jagara Family had taught him to hate the other Houses. But, for some reason he could not bring himself to produce such emotions towards others without a reason, especially after he had met Arcueid once a long time ago by accident. To him he thought that these current wars that all of the dominant families were having against each other were meaningless, ever since he had discovered that they were simply fighting for the power of some being created by Arcueid Kazaf had lost all interests in such quarrels. Eventually making a feeling of wanting to defy to surface within himself.
"It is a extreme honor to meet such charming and dexterous young lady such as yourself. And you should not worry, young noble lady, your presence within this plaza is a grace to all of us."
Although, Kohana had fully introduced herself Kazaf still referred her to a young noble lady. As usual being gentleman but at the same time forming a distance between anyone he met, Kazaf often pushed almost everyone out of his heart. Only a select few individuals ever met the real Kazaf which he had carefully sealed within himself.
"Young noble lady, we aren't the only ones of nobility who visits these parts of the city. Numerous members of high society do business here with both aristocracy and commoners."
Noticing that night was falling upon them, Kazaf thought to himself it would be better to get out before it gets too dangerous. Afterall the entire planet was at war with one another and staying so late outside was almost suicide. Offering a hand Kazaf spoke softly, his husky voice echoing through the walls of the empty archaic plaza.
"It's getting quite late, will you please grace me with your prescence back into the House of Jagara? Soon it will be too dangerous for anyone to linger outside due to the war."
Kazaf silently awaited for her answer, he had quite surprised himself. He usually preferred to keep it to himself but oddly enough he found himself inviting a stranger to accompany him back to the palace.
A young messenger arrived in the House of Layos, he hurriedly knocked in the grand door. He seemed to be shaking, for the parcel he carried was shaking making a rattling noise. He had been taught that if he failed, his head was at the mercy of the nobility.
Meanwhile, Arcueid and her council prepared themselves to make the trip to the House of Layos. Which was found some 100 miles away from the city which the Chrnos' family resided. Within a few hours the ruling members of the Chrnos' Family were seen entering, a large air ship, which was suspended in the air by some kind of abnomal force. Another Chrnos' invention that Arcueid had produced years back.
As they cruised above the land, Arcueid spotted a strange cave, which was producing strange smoke and sounds. Ordering the ship to slow down and land on the ground. Arcueid was curious as to what would be making such strange occurances in a deserted location. As she neared the cave the reek of decomposing bodies overwhelmed those who got close, Arcuied quickly pulled a silk scarf to cover her nose.
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
Marcus looked up from his work, there was a new scent in the air. Fresh humans and fresh souls. He took in the smell, and there were nobles here. He smiled it would be good to tast a noble soul after so long haveing to tast these nasty peasent souls. Marcus left his project were it is and pulled his hood over his head. Gathering his staff of bones Marcus walked out of his cave in what most would say a disturbing noble way. "Greetings great nobles how may I be of serves to you?" Marcus said a cold mockery creeping into his voice.
Re: Rhapsody of Destruction
The Twins walk up to Kazaf. Trying to be polite and not enterupt the conversation already being had, Aura gently tugs on Kazaf's shirt.
As The Twins wait patiently for Kazaf's attention, Aura looks at Kohana. Wondering who this woman is, Aura leans over and whispers to Yuuki "Who's she?"
"I think she is from Darcia but I'm not sure. Personally, I don't think she is to be trusted. Just ask Kazaf, he's the one talking to her, so he should know. Besides, its really none of our concern anyway" Yuuki replies. seeming annoyed by the petty question, she turns, and looks around the room. As Yuuki is surveying, she notices how feminen Kazaf looks and tries not to laugh.
"Yeah, true. Hey why must you be so rude?" Aura asks.
"I wasn't being rude. I was merely stating I don't know who she is" Yuuki argues.
