Thread: Rhapsody of Destruction

"Lady Arcueid of the Chrnos' family I assume?" asked the captain, "My lady, we have been expecting your arrival for quite some time, please follow us to the Throne Chambers, also please excuse Master Raskove for not meeting you outside of the palace, he is not to fond with our poor appearance as you see." The Captain Honor Guard turned around and signaled the men to lead Lady Arcueid to the Throne Chambers.

Raskove stared at the large displayed window from above the ceiling, he blinked a couple of times then asked Zuri a question, "A ship this size has to carry how many men?" Zuri answered his question, "Around 200 men Master." Raskove's eye twitched, "2-200 hundred men?" he said quietly. Zuri heard a rather loud steps made by the Honor Guards, he and another servant quickly opened the doors for the escort and Lady Arcueid. Raskove straightens himself in front of her, hoping to make a good impression.

Marcus was in the small cave he found about a mile out of town. It was lucky he found it people of downs usually tried to fight him if he stayed in there town. He was going over his notes trying to find a way to become more powerful. He could try to summon a army of the dead but that took to long. Maybe some enchantments he knew very little about it, but coud pay off a enchanter to do it. What to enchant first, Marcus was looking at his staff when it came to him.

Arcueid did a shallow bow with her hands close to herself.

"And it is a incredible honour to be able to finally meet the Leader of the Layos clan. Whom we humbly asked to meet in peace."

As Arcueid walked through the grand halls that lead to the Throne Chambers, her heels made a faint clicking noise which was muffled by the Honor Guards' heavy armor. Accompanying the sounds of the heavy steps of the Honor Guards, Arcueid could hear the rustling noise made by her Council's hooded robes which grinded against their bodies and the marble floors.

Although she had done this countless times, it was Arcueid's first time as the governing member of the Chrnos' family to meet another Leader of a powerful aristocratic family. She took a deep breath before entering the great wooden doors, that was leading into the Throne Chambers. As they momentarily stopped as Layos' servants opened the door, a pale red light shined upon them. Arcueid thought to herself, "We are finally here...I must make this alliance to work...if we, the Chrnos Bloodline, is to maintain its reigning power over this planet."

After the guards entered the Throne Chambers first, Arcueid followed lastly the Chrnos' Great Council members entered. In all there were 7 representatives of the entire Chrnos Family, 5 of them being the Council while the other two composed of Arcueid herself and her General and close advisor. As she faced Raskove, Arcueid did a deep courtesy bow and looked at Zuri recognizing her as part of the court. Beginning her speech, Arcueid's voice was humble but with affirmity, smooth but with overflowing vigour.

"Great Leader of Layos! The Chrnos' Family has arrived humbly asking for your help..."

Arcueid momentarily stopped, her attent eyes watched the spectators before her. She wanted to see if so far her words deemed effective.

"We deeply wish to create a strong alliance which will propell this war into a new chapter! An alliance which will forever reshape the course of both Great Houses! An alliance which will bring victory and glory to our members and ancestors!"

Arcueid once more bowed which the council and her general which stood beside her, bowed in the same fashion as Arcueid but a bit lower almost forming a 90 degree angle. As all returned to standing position Arcueid's General stepped forward, he wore a different armour different from those that were standing outside. It was elegantly composed of pure gold, demonstrating Chrnos' Family deep knowledge with science and as a stronghold of Alchemy knowledge.

"In return the Chrnos' Army will faithfully protect members of the Layos bloodline!"

Kohana

Kohana was slightly taken back when twins arrived. They had to be of the same house as Kazaf. Before too long, she had her answer. One of the twins introduced herself, as Yuki of the Jagara house. Kohana wondered what the other twin's name was, but to the question ahead. She bowed slightly.

"My name is Kohana of the Darcia. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance.” They seemed so cute. She couldn’t imagine them being in a House such as Jagara. But she shouldn’t let looks deceive her.

You never know what kind of people they are. They could be whiney brats for we know.
This was almost came out of her mouth. Her other self was back, but not as strong. Kohana was able to keep her mouth shut.

Kohana also had forgotten to answer Kazaf question. Again, she pushed her other self away. She still seemed depressed from the whole ‘father’ incident.
"Oh, Kazaf, it is quite late. It would be a pleasure to accompany you to your house, if I may so."

Touya

Touya laid back into his couch. He was bored. He gone a trip to relieve his boredom, but came back just the same. There wasn’t much to do now. In his absence, there were things going on among the other Noble Houses. He was going to have to do something soon or there would be trouble. This was war, and if he had to fight, then he would fight. It wasn’t just to gain power, but for other things as well. It felt like a sense of duty, to him.

Where was Kazaf, and the twins. He hadn’t seen them since he had gotten back. Where could they possibly be? Well, no matter, he thought. He was so bored that he seemed to be tired. He waved his hands, calling a servant.

“I’m going to bed. In the morning, please send Kazaf and the twins to me. Also make sure no ones bothers me. I’ve had a bad day.” He meant it. He didn’t want to be disturbed.

Slightly stepping back with one foot and placing his right hand over his chest, Kazaf bowed to her. Night by now had falled upon them, although above them the skies silently glittered with its star, it was the total opposite down on Earth. Out in the distance Kazaf could hear, loud booming noises, produced by all types of horrendous weapons.

"We must hurry my Noble Lady, this trecherous war has commenced again and this time it is in the neighboring location."

Kazaf offered Kohana a hand and meanwhile looked down at the twins. Whom were standing next to him.

"Little ones I shall be returning to the manor. If you wish anything you know where my private chambers lie."

Kohana bowed slightly in return. She gently took his hand. It was strange to take a stranger's hand. Someone she had just met and was from an apposing House, but she wasn't scared. Strange as that sounded, it was true. Besides, she was getting out. She was free. She was an adult. She had to the right to be out. Besides, she could protect herself. It was easy, but she hadn't let many people know about herself.

The noises in the distance, was the noises of war. She didn't like them. She wished the would leave soon. Kazaf told the twins where they could see him, if needed. She stared at him. "Shall we be leaving soon?' She didn't want to be around those awful noises of war. It wasn't just the weapons and everything. It was their thoughts that frighten her.

Kazaf took her hands, as he grasped her hands gently Kazaf could feel the gentle and soft skin of Kohana. It felt somewhat blissful against his rough hands, which was caused by repeatedly punching against a wooden board which was wrapped with a thick rope. As he gazed upon her eyes, Kazaf's trained eyes sensed hesitation or perhaps fear. He looked directly into her amethyst colored eyes.

"Does the fact that I am from a enemy clan bother you? Young noble lady?"

At the distance Kazaf could see the dark surroundings lighting with an array of different colors as the weapons in the battlefield were swapped according to the conditions. Slightly rolling his eyes Kazaf turned back to Kohana.

"Yes let us leave this hostile place, but before proceeding any further please place this over your face."

Kazaf offered Kohana on what it seemed to be a extremely long scarf, which had several imprinted patterns of lotuses. Although, it was almost transperent it would cover her identity as she entered the Jagara Household.
