After looking at the photo's meta data, I'm inclined to believe the person.

to be honest, I suck at taking photo's, but if you give me a decent camera and let me play with the settings, I can take some pretty amazing photo's.

Expressing your personal opinions is one thing, Tsu, but openly calling someone an liar is another thing all together. You out right insulted another member, and if you weren't a staff member, I would have issued an infraction for it.

If you had some doubts, thats what the private messaging system is for.

Sorry man, but that's my opinion. If he's that offended by my skepticism (which is well-deserved given how incredibly unlikely it is that a brand new member would be posting up self-taken underwear model pictures of himself taken with a timer) -- he's going to have a hard time on the INTERNET.

This could be just as easily solved by the guy taking a photo of himself holding his username... or even just a few more photos altogether.

I've met a lot of liars on the internet (including quite a few on this site)... and it's pretty easy to prove you aren't one of them (if you're not).

It's not like I infracted him, swore at him or drowned his kitten. I said I didn't believe he took that picture of himself in his livingroom with a digital camera on a timer.

I didn't even RATE the image. I reported it here as suspicious to see if anyone could confirm or deny it's authenticity (including a "it could be him").

I hardly "chased him off the site".

And if he wants to be huffy and go: let him.

I get random 2 star ratings all the time. I haven't left the site crying in my coffee because people don't appreciate my scans. Last week I had to take a picture of my PSP and my clock just to prove I had the game Crisis Core and lived in Japan. That guy's my friend now. I have people quiz me on Japanese at Gamefaqs constantly because they don't believe I can actually speak Japanese.
I still go there.

People need to grow a spine.

If you're telling the truth: it's easy enough to prove it. I'm not going to tiptoe around people I doubt for fear of hurting their fragile sense of worth.

To me, its kinda creepy photo that as you have said might as well just be another person altering his internet life because he doesnt have such toned abs (seriously we'll probably have to google 'perfect abs' to see if we can find it)

The only wrong i find is that that decorative door, dont you think its too elaborate to be just a setting in a house?., and i highly doubt they let you 'ab' it up at an antique colonary house.

I'd also like to point out this member might also be the real deal, seeing how he seems to hold some personal issues of people not believing that he is who he says he is(cant tell he's suffered this in the past)., he may have been hit with this to the extent that he will snap at ppl who keep thinking hes a liar,

Oh, I'm prefectly happy with his explanation. I'm not 100% convinced (mainly because of his overreaction and item-by-item breakdown of his excuse), but had he handled the whole issue a bit better, I'd probably pat him on the back and say "alright man, I believe you" for the sake of peace.

My point is: I'm not going to apologize for being honest. And I'm not going to apologize for being suspicious.

If someone wants to be THAT much of a drama queen over someone doubting them on the internet in the age of "To Catch a Predator", match.com and mothers pretending to be teenage boys on myspace: that's their problem -- not ours.

As for his issues: we're moderators -- not psychiatrists.

He could have verified it by posting more pics.. Not sure why he'd waste so much time arguing his point when he could have proved it a lot easier by just taking more pics. Then again this whole argument in general is just a little silly. I can see the argument that perhaps Tsurara didn't word her post in his pic with as much tact as she could have, but we -do- allow people to report images for these reasons. So the reporting of the image itself is permissable, so people shouldn't be arguing against that action.
