OK they are getting out of hand, not from our side (the handling is pretty much spotless) but from the users side, they dont read the individual challenges rules, disregard our own gallery rules, argue with the staff, and of course steal/rip others work. All this in the name of "Look at me, I'm great"...

For that I will create a supervision thread for the GFX section, telling the members to comply with both the challenge specific rules/theme and AO's general rules.

I am thinking on implementing a suspension/warning system for GFX challenges/contests...

1.- First time offenders on the WPOF/SOTW will be suspended from participating in that particular event plus the next one (suspended for two contests).

2.- First time offenders for individual battles will be suspended from participating/issuing challenges for a month.

3.- Continuing offenders will get suspended for life.

So what do you think.

I say we add the fact that they will get infractions for "Inappropriate Image Upload" but other then that I like the idea. If they can't read the rules what the heck is the point of them being able to participate?

Oh yeah... Site infractions will still be issued, this is on top of them...

Are we just creating more work for ourselves. I would just keep things simple and stick to the infraction system.
