As suggested by A8, What is everyone thoughts for a new section or sub-section for vectors? We have a few people who are able to do vectors (I'm learning it myself) and I think that for the people into gfx it may prove popular.

Also what about changing the 'Fan Art' section to just "Art" ? - or just making an entire new section for 'Original Art' (I feel as if we have discussed this before..)

I don't mind trolling through the section and cleaning it up if we do.

I'm for the idea, although I'll admit that I will most likely not contribute much to the vector gallery...gave it a try a while back and that was it. ^^; However I see no harm in adding an additional category. The gallery could use some spicing up since tsurara left...damn, she sure did put in a lot of effort before she left.

final active Gallery Mod also agrees to

1)Changing "fan art" to "Original Art"
2)Sub section in VIP for "Vectors".

i also would be fine with sifting the gallery for material for vectors, i know where most are.

IF we do decide to, we could take a poll first to see if there are any other ideas if they are popular. but i think having a vectors sub section would bring more quality and clarification to our material. since vectors are getting mixed up with renders, etc.

1) changing 'fan art' to 'original art'

or just have a section called 'Members art' (or something like it)? saves all the confusion of where people put original or fan art, it'd just go under "Members Art"? Unless we have two sections for both (do we really need it though?)

I thought about asking an admin but id like to have some sort of consensus XD.

1.If we do have two, then it would define whether its anime artwork or something totally original(theres quite a lot of both i think). So having two wouldnt be too much work.
Having it in one category sure saves time though. but then again does it really matter whether its original or anime fanned?., having it Member Art would raise some question like "where to i put my anime fanart?".
Again having two would save someone time finding whether they want anime fanart or original.

Overall, im all for creating two for a convenience to the visitor.

2., Sweet!, i think we actually initially forgot about this category when we where adding the vip. I know that we've discussed this at the time, and ruled that there weren't any people to contribute to it(so we ruled vectors as "render"s..lol morons! XD). but now we have a couple and its good enough reason to do so.

anyone else?., im sure all the gallerymods are for this idea but im not totally sure if any other gallery mods have anything more too add(since reg.mods dont matter because this is out turf!, still input is appreciated ) before we ask any admins about this.

I thought about that, and then have a description underneath saying for "members original and fan art work"

But then again..who reads the description these days? xD
