And I think we need a rule that only the final version is uploaded. Do we really wanna see all the versions? I for sure don't.

FLawEdmiNd needs an infraction for inappropriate image upload as it's not in line with sig rules.

I disagree with that, the sig rule applies to the size of an image we can display on the boards each time we post. It is meant to keep posts as small as possible so that we don't have wasted space due to a sig image.

We have had no limit on sig size for the gallery and frankly we shouldn't as long as the image isn't massive. The gallery is meant to show off your skills not necessarily those that conform to the size limits we impose of the forum. There are members who are on other sites which have no sig limits at all and if they want to display their works for those sites then why shouldn't we allow them too?

I guess what I am saying is I see no point in limiting the sig gallery to AO standard sig rules. However I do agree that there should be some limit otherwise it isn't a sig but like a mini wallpaper.

P.S. we should ask about the devart thing, though I think it might apply to a tutorial (hopefully they aren't dumb enough to simply stick a render to a black background and add some text) also we don't need the same image with 3 different texts.

P.S.S. DB you have historically stated that the gallery is for showing off our skills and thus works in process should be put there instead of a thread in the GFX section, so they can get feedback etc...(not that they are actually getting any "help" this way) If we tell them the gallery is only for "final" versions then where can they post images to get help with their works before they are finished? I know I have been helping Demon Spawn with his wall for the WOTF via PM because it is his first wall and it could use some work. I have been doing so as I just never felt the gallery was a good place to do the WIP thing, also just my 2 cents.
