The Avatar

Have any of you seen the Avatar. I don't if you can call this cartoon anime but it really looks like one. It really has a good story and the characters are great as well. What do you guys think?

i think they need to hurry up with the third season already...

i wont lie, i watch the show. im no hardcore fan, and i dont attenpt firebending, but i keep up with it. i belive there will only be four seasons, it makes sense.

i havnt seen the show since he broke out of the ice
a while back but i thought it was a cool concept
and i think it isnt anime unless its from japan or china
or somewhere over there.

its jsut a cartoon if its amrican made i think

It's pretty good, i think it okay.
Still it's a little too kiddy.
I prefer stuff like blood+ FMA or Bleach...something like that

I consider the Avatar an anime. Stupid anime fanatics need to relax. Just because it was made in America doesn't mean it's not an anime. It's pathetic to see someone say that. I think anime isn't just cartoons made in japan, it's by the way it's drawn. And the Avatar is drawn with the concept of anime on mind. They even based the way the characters bend on martial arts from Asia. People need to stop acting like pricks all the time.

Other than arguing, it's a great show. The characters are hilarious and memorable. The only one I dislike is Kitara.

I feel the same way. the firts time I watched the avatar I was surprise how much it looked like anime.

Oh that show..yeah i see it every once in a while..i think its really funny!!! I haven't seen the new ep. but just yesterday i saw the fist ep.....

oh yeah its a good one but not that great in my opinion, love the characters not so much about the story, but i have to admited its prety funny, i didnt see till last ep but i want to see it. i heard a story about guys who are making a film with real ppl about The Avatar...but i think they will change the story...did anyone hear about it?

Although I have not seen much of it I think that it is a pretty good show, But whether or not it is called an anime is dependant on who your asking, I do agree with toonfan that it is made after the concept of anime so I'd call it one. The real people Avatar would be interesting to see though if they were going to make it and if they were I hope they dont change the story line to much.

i've seen it once i dont think it was too bad but i really didnt watch more i didnt have time so yeah it was pretty cool.

I always thought that Kitara was a Misty, referring to Pokemon. They acted the same and felt the same way about the leading male role. Zuko was a personal favourite. I really do wish he comes out the victor.
