Did youguys see the show Avatar : The Last Airbender?
I though I saw something:
Waterbending = Tai Chi
Earthbending = *some style from Wong Fei Hung movies* and mantis style
Firebending = Iron Palm
Airbending = Ba Gua Fist (coz of all the spin and stuff)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but do youguys see the same thing too? Or I'm just thinking too much . . .

Swt, the games use mootion capture to take real moves right?
yes, the creators of the avatar based the bending styles on those martial arts.
yeah i remember watching nick and it had a avatar special where it showed you where the fighting styles came from. they had experts in different martial arts preform for the artist and then they would draw what they see them doing but with some differences.
they also have it in book 1 Vol. 1 as one of the extras
