Air is also the weakest if you look at it. I mean, what else can they do except fly and make a ball of gust? To me, the air tribe isn't that exciting.

Well, Earthbending is kinda cool and yeah...Toph is the best there is.

I'd probably be a fine soldier of the fire nation! So many ways I can use my fire-bending skills(not all of them destructive either)! All the things I can cook without needing all that friction and tinder crap! When someone does need to get ****ed up I can BURN BURN BURN!!!!!! this is hard because for me air and earth would be asum... 2 opposites one of full substance and control the other free and light... it would destry anything that came into its way... but if i had to chose i chose air cause i'd wanna fly and be free.

imgaine it you have the power to take away the breath of all around you, create mini tornadoes (on in aangs case very big ones) you can cut very efficently AND effectivly all the airbenders can bend anything by putting it in an air stream like when aang before he could earthbend put coal into and airstream and fireed it at the fire nation ppl

It's still the weakest of the four nations. Which is why they all died out. Haven't you ever wondered that? When do you see Aang use his air bending now that he knows the other three. He rarley uses it. So, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I see your point but I also see Sasuke Is Emo point. Just think about it each of the bending styles has its advantages.

For example:

For fire to be it needs air so in other words if you are an air bender then you can control the air around any fire. This means that an Air bender only needs to create an air vacuum to stop the creation of any fire.

Also according to the anime each element has its opposite Air is the opposite of Earth and Fire is the opposite of Water. That is why it was so difficult for Aang to learn earth bending. Also Iroh learned how to re-rout lightning while studying water benders.

I don’t think one element is stronger than the other three. What I do think is that one bender might me stronger than others no matter what bender style he is. The difference between benders is not measure by how strong they are but it is measure by how much they know that is why The Avatar is the #1 bender because he knows all four styles of bending.

I agree with you, Syd. But I just don't like people who pick Air bending or that Katara is a strong bender types. Not pointing fingers at you, S.I.E. Just that those two things I hate.

Here is a thought we already know that is a solar eclipse fire benders lose their power. Also in a lunar eclipse benders lose their power but what about air and earth benders during what kind of natural event do they lose their power.
