GFX Battle - Cell Wall Round 1 (Voting[CLOSED])
Ok, had to losers drop out on me so we are down to six, contestants. Here is how it is going to work.
Each person will be allowed to vote 3 times, once per segment of the bracket. The 3 (three) winners from each segment will move on to the next round (SUBMITTING TO ME A NEW CELL WALLPAPER).
Voting will allowed for the next 3 days, so you have until the 19th at 1:30 PM EST to cast your votes!

...just my luck, I go head on with GC from the get-go.:eek:
Both contestants of Alpha made some top-notch work. But gwen's use of lighting and effects were simply stunning and it caught my eyes attention right off. As for zyta's entry its a solid piece of work too. Out of all the entries I'd say its the 2nd or 3rd best one (ofcourse this being my opinion) next to gwen's. Xelhes' entry is a tie with zyta's. To add to all the GallComp's entry is very unique, I dont think my entry stands a chance.:(:

Now about alpha i didnt really like either mainly because they are both Fan art and i dont think you can host someones work internationly if these Wallpapers do get out there.
Detla Shinku got me because i love vector art its really that simple. Gall's was good but far to simple. im a intricate person so i make intricate sigs. lol

i voted for her cause i really like the use of colours and lighting in her wall, and i enjoyed the tone of it as well, felt quite calming for me with the shades of oranges/golds quite well done.
Delta: GallComp
i went with GallComp for a few simple reasons, for starters i like clean vectors, secondly i loved the background in it, it's the only wall that actually has a backdrop scenery with the clouds, sun, and house (really like the house).
Beta: equinn
went with equinn for it's pure simplicity, since phone walls aren't very big putting to much effects in it kinda makes them over cluttered. anywho the other reason y i went with hers is the nice complementary light colours and its subtle lighting. for me is just feels like everything molds together in harmony. so yea, nice wall.
