Thread: Recommendations for a good shoujo??

My favorite shoujo manga are Fruits Basket and Vampire Knight. Fruits Basket is extremely good, it has humor, romance, angst, and all that other good stuff in a very original and engaging storyline. Vampire Knight is a little darker, and as the title gives away, is heavy with bloodsucking. If love triangles, hot guys and fangs are your thing, though, you can't go wrong. I also recommend Ouran High School Host Club. I haven't read the manga, but the anime adaption is delightful and I've heard the manga is even better.

I highly recommend you to watch Itazura na Kiss because it contains Comedy,Romance, and Shoujo

-La Corda D'Oro
-Skip Beat
for their simple romances and fun plots. I want something that has a touching story and is easy to laugh with.

Try Special A its quite a lot of laughs =) and you can also try full moon o sagashite , its about a girl who loves to sing but due to health problems cant .Ihear its quite touching .hope that helps X)

Go vampire knight, its an awersome anime you should watch it

If you haven't yet checked out Clannad, I highly suggest doing so. Clannad is one of my more recent favorites, in terms of shoujo anime. I'm blanking on other really great anime recommendations right now, but if you are looking for a brilliant shoujo manga, Hot Gimmick is one you absolutely must read. Sorry my post lacks reasons and details...but I'm just not trying to think that much right now.
