Favorite Line From A Poem.
I admit I stole this idea from someone else who had it but never started the thread. What is your favorite line from a poem and what the hell, yeah lyrics can count to. My favorite is the opening of The Cremation Of Sam McGee.
There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest they ever did see
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
I cremated Sam McGee.
A grandiose poem at every spectrum. Mind you it is not my favorite poem but certainly my favorite start. It is beautifully structured but Macrabe.
Poem: The Cremation of Sam McGee (an abnormal way of getting warm in the freezing conditions of a Canadian winter as expressed by Robert Service).
