 | The Old Kingdom Trilogy The Old Kingdom Trilogy by Garth Nix This is a series i recommend to anyone in search of a good fantasy novel. It consists of: Sabriel. Lirael, and Abhorsen. Basically the books follow the progression and adventures of each book's Abhorsen, or protector of the living from the dead reincarnate. The stories transfer perfectly from the Old kingdom, a place where magic (called Charter) reigns, and Acellstierre, the version of our world where technology reigns. I certainly recommend this series, again, to anyone wanting a simple, yet compelling fantasy read. Now, if you have read the books, what is your favorite parts? and please for the love of the Charter USE SPOILER TAGS!!! |
