Normally I find stuff like this to be completely bogus, but in this case it's not. Just kinda takes a bit of time and effort, but if you're sitting on the computer doing basically nothing I figure what the hell, right? So yeah, anyway, what am I talking about? This site that I've been a member of for a while: Rewards1. Basically what you do is you sign up, fill out the free offers and earn points. Then you can trade them in for gift cards and other stuff.
Of course I didn't put in my real address or real name in the offers, I put in an address of someone down the street, so they're getting all the junk mail from the offers I signed up for. I also made a separate hotmail for the site since you have to use the same e-mail for the site AND the offers and it'd end up filled with junk mail. Personally I didn't think any of this would actually work at all, but I just traded in my points for a 12 month Xbox Live Gold time card and sure enough it worked. Site has been around for years, so I probably should have figured it was on the up and up, but whatever.
Anyone else here use that site? Or ever used that site? Curious to see if i'm the only one. I had this posted in the links directory for a while to share with others who might want to earn some free crap while being lazy on their PC, but I think we did away with the links directory on this site a long time ago. Either way, if you wanna give it a go I am tossing the link in my sig.

I never even heard of it but if it's on the up and up, I will now. LOL. I really don't like the idea of junk mail but if it's for free stuff, what the hell--why not?
Thanks for the info!
Just make a completely separate e-mail on hotmail for it. Don't use the one you use for everything else. That way you don't have to deal with any spam. Don't forget the login for the hotmail account, though, because the e-mail you use is the one they send the giftcard/etc info to. Keep in mind some of the offers take a while to credit you with points, each one has an "avg approval time" on them that tells you about how long it takes to credit your points.
Well signing up for offers and stuff could be considered doing SOMETHING for it. But it's not exactly difficult, just takes time. In the end though you're still just sitting on your ass doing some rather effortless task on the internet, which eventually adds up to free stuff. Plus you gain a small amount of points for the offers your referrals fill out as well, so eventually if you get enough referrals you can get to a point where you don't have to do anything at all.![]()
Too bad that Canadians get screwed out of most of the good stuff...
Good example: I go to the daily servay section, click on "Re-doable: Gamer Missions (Canada)" and it tells me its not available in my country.
