I had a rather interesting run in at the deli today.

There was a woman, dressed normally, really nothing special about her. However i did notice one thing about her that pushed my sarcasm button. This one thing was a sticker on her vest saying "John McCain 08".

When i saw this i went "Concerning the sticker, i'm going to have to ask you to leave. No, i kid, i kid."

Apparently she didn't take this as well as i had intended her to, as she seemed to be a McCain extremist. She ended up trying to school me about how Obama will ruin this country and McCain is basically the American equivalent of the second coming of Christ.

Now, I just wanted to do my job, and i really didn't want to end up in a political squabble with this woman. I honestly told her i was apathetic about politics and i felt that both candidates will have negative effects on this country as well as positive ones.

Oh, but this was not acceptable. She asked me if i was in college yet, and i answered honestly with a "not yet, i will be in the summer." She then had the audacity to say college is where the minds of children are poisoned, almost as if we would all become Nazis if we all voted democrat.

Now, my view is this: I personally don't care who runs this country, but for this particular election i will vote for Obama because I'm sick of republicans running this country for the last eight years.

All of this is really strengthening my plan to move to Canada, because this country is really starting to piss me off.....but then again the whole world is going to s*** anyway.
