I find it increasingly difficult to calmly and peacefully display my opinions and views on the regular boards, mainly because some one will get offended or contradict me with every turn i get. Now, I don't really mind that, but it's nice to get it all out sometimes. So here i go.

Religion wise i was raised Christian. I never went to church, though, so i suppose i just got the fractured version. Nowadays i don't really feel so at peace with Christianity only. Though i believe in an afterlife and some sort of higher power, i don't believe it's actually a specific God. I've recently taken my religious beliefs from many different ideas. I live by a few of the ten commandments, like thou shalt not kill, steal, covet thy neighbor's goods/wife, and that sort of thing, and i also believe in a few of the teachings Jesus preached (that whole teach a man to fish thing. Not sure if its Jesus or not, but you get the idea). I've taken a liking to the Buddhist skepticism, always asking questions to make sure the truth you are hearing is the actual truth. I also consider myself a tad agnostic, because even though i believe there is a higher power, there is no way to prove or disprove it.

Edit!: If my memory serves me correctly, that teach a man to fish thingy was a chinese proverb.

But that's enough of the spiritual aspects. Now for the social. I feel that, no matter how advanced of a race we are, i feel we are creating more problems than solutions. Our whole world is going to s*** and it's our fault. I feel as though the current generation is one of the last to feel what peace is like. In a few more decades, perhaps the movie Road Warrior will become a reality. So don your spiked motorcycle helmets and start practicing screaming "KAPLAAAAAHHHH!!!"
