What always helps me: is to listen to some old songs I haven't heard in years. Not sure if it'll work for you, but it's just a suggestion.
for a while now i have been trying to think of a good theme for a poem . But i have ran dry i think if you read everyones poems there almost the same.
there are some difrences but the theme never changes.
I am almost desprate enough to read a few stories or maybe some old edgar alen poe poems to get my creativness going again. this brick wall of a writters block sucks big time.
Right now im just sitting here lost in my thoughts not sure what to do . i thought about doing something to get an infraction but i dont think that would sit well with some people >.>
I was joking by the way hmm guess i will just read some more threads and hope for something intresting to be posted since i cant think right now.

which reminds me I better hurry up and write a POTM entry (even though no one else does anymore).
I think a good way to com up with random themes is to just think randomly. think of the first whacky thing that comes to mind and write a poem about it.
It might not make for DEEPEST poetry. But, it will get the juices flowing.
