I am in a bad mood. And every time I try to write a response out in the forums, I re-read it and realize I'm sounding like a big fat online jerk. So because I don't wanna piss on anyones parade... I've deleted every smart ass*d remark I've attepmted to share (with the exception of this journal entry)

I would like to vent my most honest thoughts about issues concerning this site, the topics that end up in the forums, and certain members. But that would SOoooo be against the rules. The rules that are bent for select members, that somehow don't include myself... wonder why..?

Oh well.... Im no ones favorite anyway... so why should I spare AO of a much needed dose of "KEEP IT REAL!"

Anyway... what I will say. Is its hard to contribute to a site that shows illogical favortism to its members. Some members get recognition for doing much less than members who log on everyday and post they're hearts out. While others are involved and contribute... and don't get anything but banned or infracted.
Some people HAVE to put 50 characters in their posts... others dont.. hmm. As if that rule is only effective for preventing low quality posts for a select group. When really... its just that a select group is permitted to post low quality if they find it appropriate to do so.

And I suppose, no one is forcing me to be involved in such a "clickish" little site. Maybe I'm just butt hurt because I have failed at being accepted into the cool crowd.

The reality is... I come here because there's a lot of cool people here. (Or there's a lot of people with really convincingly cool internet personas) This site has inspired me to do a lot of improving where creativity is concerned. And I'm vested in doing what I can to make it possible for someone else to stumble on to this site... and have that same inspiration empower them to do great things as well.

This site may not be the most well heard of. but it somehow attracts a pretty small but awesome crowd... for the most part. Still... I can appreciate this site all day, but perhaps I have no real value here. Apparently trying to stimulate topics that can be downright frustrating is a fruitless effort. Because I cant even slightly break a rule without getting infracted. I get infracted "by mistake" without breaking a rule at all. I still have to put in 50 characters... even if I am just commenting a picture in an album. And my sexiness...??? My sexiness has completely gone to waste here. No one ever invited ME to the sexy clan!

I am beginning to think if I take a long hiatus... completely ignore the site for a while... and then come back... and post my butt off playing "catch-up"... maybe then someone will pat me on the back for giving a sh*t in the first place.

Or I can just suck it up, accept that this site feels more like home than my myspace. Accept that if I DID take a hiatus... I would be significantly more bored, and less entertained by the points of view of our international youth.... And accept that at this point in my bitter rant.. most readers have probably lost interest...... the end.
