Actually it is - in many views, Lucifer was the one who "beared light" for humans. Letting us see even the darkness.
In a form, expanding our choices - allowing us to choose for ourselves.

To this day, many people still see Lucifer as an evil god that is the lord of all evil in the battle against good vs evil.
People constantly think it's a war. It's not. A war would have a fair winner, but in the end the good will win no matter what. It's not up for debate.

I don't see Lucifer as evil as many people do. I see him as an exaggeration of the other half of balance. In the end, the biggest threat to a human's faith isn't demons or Lucifer himself, it's humans.

But in the same regard, I wouldn't want to meet Lucifer either.
Despite the fact Lucifer was regarded as the most beautiful angel, he does have a rather ugly personality. I'm never much for those people.
