^o^ Awwwww~! i'm so sorry Baby!
but if you should be scared of anything, it should be zombies! or the devil! or... other stuff!
...Been playin' some FPSers and OTSers and RTSers lately... things with guns.
I've been owning in gun games lately. And I usually get better if I don't play them in a while.
It's pretty amazing how my aiming and reaction time gets so much better the longer I DON'T play a game.... o_o Of course, it only works if I've played the game non-stop in the past.
^.^ So I decided to try my luck and do some ol' Halo 3 campaigns today. I thought I'd be SOOO much better in it now that I've spent some time away from it.
Have I gotten better? Yes.
...no.
But still yes.
You see, I was bein' all hot sh!t in the game... headshottin' like a maniac and crazy aerial-barrages. Stuff like that.
........................aaaand then I ran into the Flood.
... I've been playin' Halo Wars lately (AMAZING GAME, btw), and have been fightin' off the Flood quite often.
...and as I kept finishing off the Flood in the game, I kept thinking to myself "Psh, they're not that scary."
I stated that since I often find myself cowering in fear and runnin' like a pusseh from them in Halo games... quite quite often.
So I thought I'd be tough as nails going against them. Thinking that not only has my skill increased, but so has my gusto!
...
............ Nope! ^_^ Instant I ran into the Flood again, I started missing my shots and misdirecting my grenade throws. ...started to run and squeal and run and fire in general directions... ......................yep... same ol' reaction.
I have a general fear of zombie-esque things... so... yeah...![]()

Woulda' jus' posted it in the Hey thread or Awesome links thread, but I felt like leaving an Easter Egg for those who were bored enough to look in this topic again.

You should try this game.. F.E.A.R... it's super spooky.. made my adrenalin rush throughout the game >.<
Legion Ketsueki Lives on~!!
I'm BACK AO!

My Siggy is in progress... just you wait... :3
I've tried every zombie/ghost/monster game imaginable...
Not really, but I have played a good amount of them... not as much as some people around here though. *looks at Hassun* >.> *looks away quickly* <_<
I believe I've tried F.E.A.R. before.
I barely remember any of it... but I do remember flashes of shooting at walls cuz I got freaked out.
My favorite survival horror game has to be the Resident Evil series... why? Cuz in most survival horror games, the monsters are fast, love to shock you, and sometimes nearly invincible.
._. My little heart can't take it. I freak out a lot.
...in Resident Evil, there are few shocks, and the zombies are slow as hell, and you are able to kill all of them in a room (unlike some games...![]()
![]()
)... sure the place gets claustrophobic, and panic sets in when you're running low on bullets and the zombies are closing in... and you're rummaging through dressers and desks for ammo (why does everyone keep ammo in their dressers? O_o)...
...but it's all good fun.
(I also make it like a promise to never play a survival horror game UNLESS IT'S NIGHT... adds thrill to it)
^^; That's the most I can take.
All other games I drop it after the first 2-3 stages.
...I still keep the game, and always claim I'll play it again... but then I never really do...
But I still plan to!
I also love teamwork in survival horror games, so Resident Evil Outbreak 1&2 was sweet love for me (too bad there was no split-screen...
).
Can you believe I have yet to pick up Left4Dead yet??? O___O
Yeah I know, I'm so dumb. But I keep getting other games that other people say I'm dumb for not getting yet.^^; Owning 3 systems + computer + 2 handhelds makes it really hard to keep up with games.
>_> I am slightly looking forward to Resident Evil 5... but it doesn't look like it has the same claustrophobic-feel of the ol' Resident Evils... it also looks like you're heavily armed (automatic guns and such), and that's a turn-off for me. >_> I like to play classic zombie games where you're just equipped with a pistol and a shotgun with very little ammo.
But who knows, I may be totally wrong on it.
I kinda' just wanna' get it because "hardcore gamers" claim they hate it and want it to burn in hell.
Anything to piss-off the hardcores by supporting a good game is always a + for me!
Hehe, this could've been me, writing that. xD At least the last part of it. I totally have generally fear of those zombie-esque things as well. Can't play most of them. I just can't. It's strange.
Though it has gotten better over the time. Like, I play, or played since I don't have the time at the moment, Bioshock. A game, which I'd already categorize as zombie-esque.
Best horror game I've played so far is the first Resident Evil on the GameCube. That's just plain horror really. I can remember that hallway where those crazy dogs came jumping through the window out of nowhere. Damn, I thought I'll die of a heart attack.
That game is nothing compared to RE4 for instance. Those two are completely different games for me. RE4 was like harmless for me compared to RE ...
I'm not even sure if I can say I've played it, since I had to lay it down after a while, because it freaked me out too much.I guess I should play it again somewhen.
And the next horror game I'm really looking forward to is Fatal Frame 4 (Project Zero 4?). It'll be awesome! I hope this will see a release in Europe ...

You are now breathing manually. :P
E&OE;
If you think RE4 is bad now Soshi wait till you beat it and play the mercernary mode. YOU WILL SHIT YOUR PANTS!
Especially if you have surround sound and you hear "vroom vroom" on all sides and you have little bullet left.
'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart
