I agree for the most part. While I am not trying to defend them, I still think that sometines people should get a little praise for doing things in games (like get the katana in Halo 3). A lot of those things are crazy-hard to do, and I mean seriously crazy-hard. BUT, I also agree that that it doesn't make you better IRL (in real life, for all you newbs). Yes, you may have gotten all the achievements for Army of Two, but I have a life (no offense if you do, just using an example). I mean, one of my most favorite things to do is hike.
