I'm really diggin' my psychology class!
I had to listen to this audio for class and I heard something that was really awesome. It made me feel better about how things have been going lately.
"An extraordinary life doesn't come from money or relationships; what kind of job you have or where you live. The quality of life is in direct proportion to the quality of the emotional state you live in on a day to day basis."
Too freakin' true.
"If you live in anger, resentment, frustration, rejection, etc, then nothing in life matters and the quality of your life is worthless. But if you live in a space of gratitude, passion, love, compassion, appreciation, hunger, drive, etc, it doesn't matter what challenges may come."
I agree completely. I can't really say I've been living on one side of the emotional fence, considering I've been through a lot lately but, I'm really trying to have a positive outlook on life. I mean, challenges come every day--that's life. It happens. But, how am I going to deal with the challenges? That's the main question.
