I was heading home from work last night, when we seen this huge cluster of cop cars, ambulance and fire trucks on University Ave. in the Fridley/Blaine area. My son was in the back of the car saying, "I see a police car!" I was thinking, "I see twelve," LOL.
Anyway, we had wondered what was goin' on, since we were automatically detoured by the cops when we tried to drive past. So we went around the block a few times and saw a couple of news vans. We followed one and was finally able to pass through and get on our way, but we had to go past the scene. It was all taped off, which lead us to wonder what's goin' on. I jokingly said it was a drug bust, but Peach said she thought otherwise. Immediately when I got home, I looked on the website for our local news channel 5 and this is what I found.

Holy crap!
And I keep having to drive over that same spot... it happened merely 24 hours ago now.
There's like these green dashes where the tire marks are, and a whole bunch of lines and x's... I'm assuming right where the guy was hit. And dude... I looked over on the middle median sidewalk thingie.... There's a pair of used rubber gloves. From a paramedic no doubt. Its all kinda spooky.
... Not Ever Again...
