Do they recognize children they've taught in the past, who have grown older?
I saw my fourth grade teacher today. Now that I'm older I was wondering if she recognized me... or if she even remembered who I was. She probably hates me because I was the only one in my class who didn't go to her wedding. I think I was jealous because all the boys in my class had a mad crush on her; the only boy I ever got was the one with a big head who'd give me holographic Pokemon cards.

Yeah the card game was just coming out at the end of my 4th grade year. (I think)
Well did you approach her? Did she recognize you? I would not approach my fourth grade teacher... She told me I needed to start wearing deoderant.How embarassing.

Both mum and dad are teacher, so maybe I should go ask them ...
It depends on the person itself, so it's always different but I guess they remember pretty well. At least it feels familiar. And especially if you have been the one who was absent. :P

I thinks most of them remember. I really pity the teachers though. They have to deal with US. I mean, WOW. I tried to stay out of my teacher's hair though.

well i am a junior in high school and my 2nd grade teacher still remembers me even though my hair grew, and i used to have a holographic Entei.

I more or less remember every teacher I've had since kindergarten and I could recognize them immediately. They can't do the same with me though and who can blame them, they get full classes of children every year. Of course that gives me an advantage because I'd never go up to them for a chat.
