Usernames.

23 is the date of my birthday. I figured it would sound better than just plain ol TaurusDemon. Distinctive either way. Yes. Buuuuuuut, it just doesn't sound right to the ears with out the 23 at the end.

Really I just wanted the username "Superstar". But some1 had already used it. Some I came up with 4 numbers that I best know. ( The number choice is a sercet;)). Ever since I had this username "superstar9156" I used it 4 all the website sites tht I register 4. It works every time!!:laugh:

I got Shiro from a movie and some other animes I think (can't remember).
When I first started using the PC I put numbers in my name but now I think it's kinda lame.
But I suppose if you really like a name and it's taken then it's okay to put numbers in it.

i know a lot of ppl have numbers in there name cuz ppl may already have that name they want to use..so they add nubers to make it different lo..others just think it look cool. Xd

So what we've learned so far is that people put numbers in their name either because the numbers mean something to them or that the name they prefer is already taken.

What about those people that put a number in their name because it's ascetically pleasing to the eye? Example; S0uthofHe77. I've come across a few of those =_)

i generally like using usernames that are so original that not many people use them... the down-side is, it's easier to stalk me :/ lol

A little late to post, but: I don't normally use numbers for my usernames, as it could often reveal a password for a different account.

...but when I do: It's so that people leave me alone. People seem a little less personal when your username is 50% |or more| numbers. ...it also seems to confuse them whether you can speak English or not.

So in that way, I NEVER have to say anything while I'm playing an FPS. If I'm screwing up, they try yelling at me, but think I can't speak English. ...and I carry on my merry way.
