Work.
Looking for work because my current employment decided to cut my hours down considerably and I can't pay mah bills. Totally loving the economy. It's going to be terribly hard to find any employment, especially locally, because it seems the only jobs available are auto mechanics and machine operators. DAMN MILL TOWNS.
Meat Cutter
Guess it's time to study the meat charts.

Re: Work.
I suspected you had the ambition of being a butcher (butcheress!)

Re: Work.
yeah, but remember those places eat up your soul!
unless you like cutting up animals!

Re: Work.
I find cleaning fish sorta theraputic in a way, does that make me bad? :(
But yeah... Booooo to the economy. But at least you are ambitious with good work ethic apparently. Some people just use this poor state of affairs as an excuse to not work. And others.. like me... just let the whole job search thing intimidate us. Good thing I have this parenting career to fall back on. (bad joke)

Re: Work.
Well its too bad to hear about your job, hope that you'll find something decent soon.:hattip:
...huh, I actually learned something about the food I eat now. )=d

Re: Work.
Oh, and I also discovered "Gyotaku" which is Japanese for fish rubbing. I need to do it.
It's when you take a dead fish and make prints from it.

Some of them come out really beautiful. It has nothing to do with a job, just thought it was interesting and now I have an urge to cover dead fish in ink and make art from them.

Re: Work.
Huh, I wasnt aware that there were people that made art with it. I always thought of it as a method in which fisherman could have proof of their catch. Man, I'm learning stuff just by reading your journal Sazuka...even school has a hard time teaching me. )=d

Re: Work.
*GaSp* Fish prints?!
That has got to be one of the coolest forms of printmaking I have seen in a while.
Now, imagine printing during different stages of fish cleaning (well I guess it really wouldn't be cleaning the fish. If you're sacrificing it to art ya prolly wouldn't eat it?)
It would be cool to get some skeletal structure in a print. o.O
