It seems any threads I post it, I automatically get subscribed to it, is there anyway to stop this from happening? I see the benefits of auto subscription but since I come here regularly and remember where I post, the feature doesn't seem helpful to me and I keep having to go to my email to read an alert for a message I was eventually going to read.
If you go to your User CP. Then go to Edit Opitions and scroll down till you get to a box called "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and then change the drop down list to do not subscribe.
And there you have it, you now won't subscribe automatice to the threads you post in ^^

What do you mean by change??
As far as i know you can only change the period of which you receive notifcations. Otherwise, there isn't much you can do.

Among the 'List Subscriptions' there should be the option to 'unsubscribe' the threads your already subscribed to...
