Advertsing AO

Advertising the site is a good way to bring in new members, obviously.

I see a lot of sigs/bars/whatever out there showing off sites, and it seems to work cause I check the sites out.

So I was thinking of doing the same for AO. Making custom avatars, bars, sigs, or anything that promotes us. Or even putting the AO link in your tag area.

I'm up for making more sigs or other designs if anyone else is willing to wear them. (And if it's kay to do this.)

Just please please PLEASE do not break the rules of other sites, spam their members via pm/email or harrass people to join the site personally. Links in your own personal space are more than welcome, but mind your netiquette.

Indeed. You don't want to have the complete opposite effect of your intended goal right?
I hope nobody will resort to harassment or anything to 'advertise' AO.

I think a great way is to include AO's link in the sig of every forum you are a member at. That would be nice.

Well i could help out Flawed when it comes to making some sigs and tags along with other stuff Advertising AO if you want my help just ask =)

But again lets not forget the rules of the board you are on.
There are forums out there straight out dont allow this.

So we start on making some ad sigs/whatever?

I've got the one in the gallery I can modify with AO's full name.

We can probably get others in on this too, and have others wear them too.

What about affiliating AO with more site as well?

You can always contact your favourite sites and ask them to link to AO, but in most cases they would want a link back and unless their site is on topic and also a quality site, I wont link back to them.

But in some sites you can always advertise your favourite links to your favourite sites, I was wondering would that be ok?

There's a site where I am and I have my own personaly homepage where I can give a link to this site, if this is my favouirte site surely I'm aloud to link this site than...right?

I can also make a signature that has A.O's name on it...(As a link to this site).

If it's okay with you ^-^
