Thread: All of animeonline's emails

yeah......... hey.... that's not cool. I'm in their too. Infact... googling my email made me feel violated.

First off: You have really nothing to worry about, other then getting some more spam.

This is a result of the last hacking attempt on Animeonline.

This is why we strongly advise people to keep as little personal information online as possible, and why its against AO policy for members to share personal identifiable information such as phone numbers and street addresses on the forums.

My email and my MSN address is on the list as well.

Unfortunately, there's nothing you or Animeonline can do about it other then suggesting that you change your email if you're worried.

I suggest updating your spam filter (or use Gmail, as it has the best spam filter around).

Again, there really isn't any threat to you personally other then getting a few more spam messages.

Lastly, Peach, if you think searching your username makes you feel violated, how do you think I feel when I Google my name get over 40,600 results.

Funny my email isn't on there

My e-mail is on that list, but I could care less. I don't even use that e-mail anymore.

Okay, this is just really stupid. There really is no privacy on internet forums. If you don't like that then you could leave all your networking websites but remember I can still find out where you live and what your email is.

Remember you can adjust your user settings so you don't get email from this website. I have done that in the past, and it works.

Now to address the second group of morons. In my days of being an active participant on this forum a few people have sent back emails and messages saying that they were angry or felt their privacy had been violated. No, your just stupid. If you don't want messages from people or emails change settings or don't join.

Don't worry about these clowns they just wanna feel power and this will give it to em lol.

They cant do anything with email addresses besides trying to infect you with a virus attached to a email or spam.
