Summer's almost here and looks like activity is picking up a little bit, so I want to start an AO Arcade tournament and want to see who is interested.

Right now I'm thinking of doing 4 separate brackets (tournaments) of 4 players (16 total). Each bracket will have a separate arcade game to acommodate the different skills. So what I need to know is who wants to play this, and I need suggestions for games to be used. Must qualify for the following though:

- Games final scored must be automatically submitted. Games that allow you to manually submit sometimes allow you to restart the game (and that's cheating).
- The game must work for most members
- Finally, I have to check if it's cheat proof. Some of the games you can cheat on.

Yes, we know the top three players of arcade (Mini Dev, LichGriffin, Gungrave). But how will they perform when it matters the most??

In terms of prize, only the final champ will get one and that is if he/she wants to get the prize. Right now Dragonball has available sets of Evangelion stamps, so that will probably be it. Also I'm thinking of asking our good friends in the gfx department to help us create a user bar for our eventual 2008 AO Arcade Champion.

Hey that's a great idea Legend, you all can count me in. I suck at Arcade video games, but i can participate despite that. Now the game of my choice would be the one where a Jeti hits a penguin with a base ball bat with spikes on the head.

I would like to accept the challenge in what you speak of.
My suggestion of games is probably oh gee i dont know, (Turkey Shoot)
I have been playing this game litterly but i do not know if it is cheat proof.
And besides playing in the tourney, i have not been in one since i have been busy with classes over at the community college during summertimes.
Maybe this time i wont be struck down with too many classes over the summer. Well Legend it seems there is going to be good competition over the summer then. Huh?

Do you honestly think i wont join, sign me up! but i need to know the date detail i can only go on my internet on Sunday's Mondays and Tuesdays for a length period of over 15 minutes! lol but ahh well... i only read the first post so wait till sunday then i will be able to reply properly, just needed to tell you i'm signing up! 3rd: Person 2
Next highest score down from 3rd: Person 3

I don't think the contestants should be allowed to pick the game or suggest the game, they will just pick whichever they are best at to give themselves an unfair advantage. Just ask the AO staff (not me) to pick the game. Or pick one at random. Just make sure the game does not suffer from the following defects: A capped highscore (games where you can't score over a certain amount), games that don't record results on our site, games that are broken in some way, games that rely purely on luck and not skill (such as that race betting game, and any card game)
