Digimon animes confusion

Hi, so i decided to go back in time and watch some old school Digimon but they are all labeled funny. The titles change thought the show(as do the main chartcars) yet they are titled Digimon Adventures season x. which would be fine if you still could tell the difference between them without watching the show, but the plot synopsis is the same for all of the seasons and the picture for all of them is the same. anyhow I figured it would be helpful to some people including me if you could change this.

Maybe its the different generations b/t the seasons. I've only watched the first 3 seasons I believe, and on the 3rd season, the characters from the first were barely shown. Maybe each season is just like 15 yrs down the timeline
