if jade hasnt already read or posted,. having such a forums would only allow people to bring in thier personal life and problems, such trivial things(trivial because where not an online help centre, anime online) can be delt with through the pm system, fell like you dont know the person enough to trust, go to the spam *ahem* Chat forum and get to know people there , but keep in mind, leave all personal business on a professional scale.,

I think i would agree with Zackraa and Sasurai on this.
If there was a thread like that it is likely that disputes will arrise and then there might be a fight or something in that thread and members would get banned(not sure if they will just saying they might.. i am not a mod so i wouldn't know). It could disrupt the atmosphere here on AO.
With what Zackraa said about journals, they are for people to write down thought etc. If there is something someone whats advice then PM someone about it. people who are willing to listen. I don't mind helping out and listen to people.
We have a place like that its called your journal! If you want certain people to give you help then pm them and tell them to comment in your journal.
Personal problems on a board maybe a bad ideal, a long time ago i was going to make a section like that but i think it will cause to many problems with people disagreeing and getting into arguements, so this section will more than likely never ever be made.

As stated by the mods...i also don't think such a thread should exist. We are not qualified to be people to be giving advise. If you trust your close online friends, just PM them, but have a thread just gives too much access to public chatter and does not often bring forth the best solutions to problems. :)
