Start submitting fiction of worth and we'll consider it. But right now, the average level of writing is extremely low. Most of the fanfic section is painfully derivative "original" fantasies and mary sue fanfic. There's a wince-inducing level of language mixing (most of it incorrect), lack of correct formatting, lack of decent punctuation... 95% of submissions aren't even spell-checked.

There's no point having a competition everyone's going to suck at ^^;

If the section increases in quality... maybe we'll do something with it.

But convince us it's worth having at all before we start encouraging people to post more crap by giving them prizes for it.

Harsh -- but sadly, true.
