Thread: Having a clan for those who like doing things for themselves!

Isnt how the gallery already is I mean lets be real here the only reason people go to the gallery is to upload there sigs for SOTW. I personaly think that This "clan" is a good idea as a GFX artist that has been doin this i have many ideas but the way this forum is set up wont allow my ideas to work. So this clan is the best decision that comes close to my ideas on this

so then the "better" suggestion is to have a sub-forum in the GFX section for works in progress...like session zero on animepaper

What's the difference?

Chris want's the clan idea to have a place to express works and get feedback.
A sub-forum in the GFX section is the same exact thing.

Hence the whole "better" part as it would include everyone on the board and not just the 15 people limit that can join the clan.

yeah this is what i was wanting and i think it would
make alot of people who want more than just a sig replied
to going ewww and ahhh actually replys and how things could be done
better and even a few tuts that are more than just photo shop
since not everyon has that.

because i have noticed that the sigs here are changing alot
and i have got pm's asking if there was a place there to learn
a spacific skill needed for what they wanted and AO dosnt have this.

the clan idea would put it all together if theres nt a sub forum
for it like a design class for those who really want to learn how
to imrpove not just make something flashy.

hmm, do we not have some great tuts for people to use are resource? they're incredible easy to follow and replicate (we even have links to other tut sites,sure some dont work but ones that do..well they're golden.

then all thats left is to add them into the gallery[i cant stress that enough since i am a gallery mod ;\], and if no ones willing to comment them then to bad?....

ALSO there is nothing stopping you from using your current clan to ask for help in gfx, the current clans are a free for all., hell if your in my clan (jurai) and ask about gfx, i am 100% certain i'd reply

yeah the are easy to follow but there mostly for photoshop i have been using gimp and go to there forum but to have a tut section or tut area for gimp
or even paint would be helpful here if people know nothing about the gimp dome or the gimp forums.

or they don't know how to use paint that well there arnt really
any tuts on those either this sugestion of a clan like i siad would jsut make everythig simpler thewre would be a need to look around if eberyhting was in one spot like a clan but if there was a subforum or een a section that was spacifly for tuts and the like it would make i much easier to get the advie you
