a little question about siggy.

well i had just finished making my newest sig, when i was going to upload it as my new sig here. i noticed this

it says the maximum size is 500 by 115 or 200 KB.

this is different from what i read in the rules.

where is says the maximum size is 500 by 130 or 200kb.

so my question is which is the true maximum size for a sig image??

probably 500 by 115 or 200 KB. and what happened was they typed it in the rules then when they went to do the sig stuff it changed and was forgot to be changed in the rules this is just an edicated guess tho

Its actually both, you have max image dimentions (500px x 130px) AND a max file size of 200kb.

If the image exceeds the filesize limit (if you're letting the forum host it for you), the forum will reject it.

If you Hot link it from another site (like most do), you might get away with a sig that is out of line with our policy until a staff member notices. Then we will issue a warning/infraction.
