I think that guests should be able to write a quick limited reply on a thread. It dont need to be a big thread/forum you could add it to but it would be a nice thing to do for the people that dont have the time to sign up. You could create a mini forum for them! Thanks...

we could do that, but that would defeat the purpose of having a forum that requires registration. If they can post there with out registering, then why register for the rest of the site.

People are lazy and won't do what they don't have to do.

Dont think that would work. we already allowing the guest to explore some areas of this site but if we give some more freedom to guest they will keep on doing it and it would be unfait to those who already joined the site as members

At first when i read the thread i thought Hell, thats a great idea. But coming to think of it if you didn't have to sign up, it would get spammed with pornography, pointless jibberish and even insults to other members on AO, there would be no punishiment for this so someone could just come along and spoil it for those eager to stay on AO. This would also meen more hassle for MODS and ADMINS that keep this place togther, and yeah why can't you just sign up anyway, if all you want to do is post it will only take 2 minutes to sign up! But sorry i don't think this is a great idea sorry.

Yeah, completely agree... But every time i sign in i see about what 1-20 members and about 250 guests, it's like just sign up instead of having a look or maybe the figures on the front page are wrong, but if not the most guests i have ever seen is 354 i think, if all them signed up AO would shoot up, maybe more so with spam but it's a risk to take, i think if anything we should try and pursade guest to join more so than just letting them passby. However i like AO perfectly how it is so far.

i agree as well there always alot of guest and i do want more members to sign up but the the more members the more the risk of crazy spamming and work for the mods and admins but just like you i also like AO just like it is.

Actually i doubt if all those guest into members came "Gradually" we would have to worry about a spammed AnimeOnline because all MODS and ADMINS have to worry about is over crowdingness in the forums, yet may i just say, the lack of lets say "activity" in the forums is quite annoying i must admit but with more members from guests here dragged in by some lets say "persuasion" the forums may come up to a respectable level for all day around, usually more of the activity is during US and diffrent region times from england, i usually miss all the major activity and all my friends are on at diffrent Timezones, if we had more members ion every time zone this would meen more friends and more activity on AO, however if a fleet of guest all signed up at once this would be difficult. The amount of Introdutcions i have seen in the past weeks has rapidly increased from when i started. Old members are coming back and more new ones also, This means yes more work for the MODS but i'm sure most of them are happy with more members here, so what im suggesting is a persuasion to new guests here but how? Well thats the question i was hopeing someone else would have the answer too Anyone think it's a good idea? And if so any ideas on how to attract new members?

I think many people will guess what i was attracted here for but well, you don't know well...ummm...Arcade!!! *Drools* Well thats what attracted me but i'm sure out of 354 guest that come here regulary and possibly may be diffrent every time i'm guessing they don't really give a about the arcade...but anyways do you have any suggestions on to what we could do?
