Aint there already a contest on best profile? hmm but i don't hear any for this month though...
All right, so I did some thinking and came up with the idea for AO to have a monthly contest for "Profile of the month". I thought it'd be pretty cool. I looked up at the contests and found a contest on "The best looking profile on Anime Online". Not necessarily that title, but that was the idea of it all, or so I think. It was to celebrate the introduction of zoints stystem. Anyhow, it seemed that many had fun with it, so I thought it'd be pretty cool to have a monthly one. If you believe this would be a fun add to Anime Online, state so! However, do not say "yes" if you don't think many will participate.. or if you believe it wont do so good. Twenty Seven people said they wanted a comics section, and only two comics have been submitted since then! So if you guys want this and think it'd be pretty cool.. say so. Just make sure you will participate in it.. and let stay alive.
Mods/admins could you add a pole for this thread? Thanks.

A profile of the month contest seems silly. Either too many people would enter, or not enough. I can't really tell because I personally don't go on the profiles that often. Anyways, I warned everyone about the comic section that people would have to put the work in,. But, it's still early.

Because they have obtained that level they are arrogant. You have to kep in mind when you talk about these guys they are kind of dorks who probably didn't excel at much and this is their only outlet to flex their muscles. Their egos would suffer no less so the the forum suffers some more. Watch one way or another they will probably repond to this post with a threat. But there are better forums out there. The profile page thing again huh? Personally I dont care much for the profile pages, I rarely go see them.
I'm not saying that its an bad idea but how many ppl actually puts in the time and effort on their profiles for a contest? Still, guess maybe we can try it out again.
...as far as the comic section goes, that was actually an great idea. I'm working some stuff of my own when I have the time. When they'll be up, I dont know...X(

I never wanted the comic section, I told you guys my drawings suck, and I'm not going to waste my time putting up work other people have done, where's the originality in that. I stick to reviews and thats about it here. In terms of other sections.
And to let you know, I wouldn't participate in this contest either as I've already stated I barely use the profiles.
Don't get angry at me, I wasn't the one who suggested the comics section and raved about how I would put all this work in it, in fact I said people, not including me, who wanted the section need to be active in it seeing as how so few members were vouching for it.
