Question about the number of Characters in a post Rule

I was thinking that cutting the minimum amount of characters needed to only 25 would be a good idea. I understand that the rule is in effect because of lame posts like "lol" and answers to questions like "yes" and "no", but I think a good response can come from at least 25 characters, huh?

I agree, If I have something to say to someone like "I like your wierdo avatar, very cool," instead I need to type "I like your wierdo avatar, very cool and awesome and sweet." I think that sort of destroys what I was trying to say.
