 | Rescuing POTM? Is there any reason why POTM is no longer active ? Is it because of lack of submissions\interest? When it was an active portion of the poetry forum I was sort of vested in it myself. I enjoyed the idea of writing toward theme... it forces a person stray form the norm and expand. Another member and I were wondering about the odds of salvaging POTM... POTM themes? I don't know if there's enough interested members. But, I would certainly be willing to do whatever I could to help get it going again if it were possible. But we couldn't just start it up without permission and a plan.... right? (let me stress the PERMISSION part) ***Note: I would be willing to give up participating as a contestant, If it meant that I could help take on responsibilties and insure that this activity stay alive for interested members.

| Re: Rescuing POTM? i agree the POTM is really a good section im just now able to get started doing things normaly after so long which means more time for poems and being creative i woiuld hate to see the section die from lack of use

| Re: Rescuing POTM? Everyone involved got burnt out...it is hard to read so many ... ummm "poems" from a judge's perspective month after month and then there is the coming up with new themes, etc... None of the judge wanted to do it any more. IMO, if you want to start a thread for a POTM contest and can get a couple of un-bias judges then go for it. EDIT...ok Hammer created a contest. Problem solved so closing.
