Look, I wasn't talking about myself. I just thought it'd be an all right idea for all the moderators to talk about what's the best date alternative for a thread to be considered "dead". Obviously I shouldn't have ever said anything.

The 14 day rule is fine. I was just saying that you shouldn't make a new thread(on the same subject) just after the other one expires. If a topic hasn't been talked about in a while its ok to revive it.

This is generally correct. The exception is that threads in the Anime Series forums never expire... (However, if the previous expired thread was closed because of abusive behavior, the Staff still reserves the right to close it...)
