Thread: the site's new look!

I must admit I don't too much mind the new look however I really miss the old site... now we have to get used to a whole new layout.

the new layout looks cool it just needs some different colors is all and the new features are really cool i found another new one on the profile page where you message people i like it very much

i like the new layout.
well, i've been a member for nearly four years, and whenever i (rarely) go back to visit the site, i was always greeted by the old theme.
this new theme is refreshing, and it adds colour to the site, unlike the previous design that, although it was sleek, the colours were pretty much monotone (with the exception of the banner).

I seriously hope some more work is put into the site, because if I was a new prospective member looking for an anime site, I'd go somewhere else, because as of right now, there's nothing 'anime' about Animeonline except the URL.

I fully agree with this. I loved how the site looked before. And every now and then I would log on and see what had been going on. . . But now. . . I mean, I'm just not liking it at all. . . I want the old skin back. Too many memories with it. =[

A layout contest wouldn't be a bad idea for the future. Also, given how VB actually operates it's not out of the question to allow several skin options for members to choose from, they'd be selectable in your control panel. That way if one person does not like a particular skin they can just select a different one and use that. I certainly wouldn't mind some other choices myself, the color scheme of the new layout is a tad bit too girly for my tastes.

It would be great to do this and let people have the choice of which skin they want. And I still have to tip my hat to you guys, you've done so much work to keep this site going. And to that, I salute you.

why drag AO into the past? we need to go forward man yeah there are good memories on those old skins but if were gonna get fresh ideas and new people we have to move into the the here and now with change give it time there still working on it

The site was long overdue for something like this. Be glad that there is progress, and that AO is still alive and well.

Just one very small complaint... No cbox? Other than that the site is very awesome its been awhile since I was on here. XD
