Thread: Stupid thing won't let me log in.

I'm a little confused, if it isn't letting you log in how did you post this thread? If you are speaking in past tense (which you should be if you created this type of thread) then you should make sure you don't have caps lock on at any point when typing in your password. Also, if by any accounts your password was somehow reset--either by accident or intentionally, you can request it sent to you via e-mail and it will send you a/the new one.

I was tired back then..hehe.

What I wanted to say is, that it didn't let me log in and it's not the first time it happened. I had to reset my password and when I logged back in it said 'wrong username or password'; caps lock was not on either.

So I came back after half a day and then it let me log in.

Hmm, It may be a board error, but I don't know why it'd happen to just you and not anyone else.. odd.

Actually, it happened to me a few days ago, it wouldn't let me log in either, and i triple checked everything.

What was the error? It was just saying your password was incorrect or something else? I'm wondering if it is related to this issue I posted in this thread: Status display bars not showing up

I think it could be. Although I haven't reset my e-mail in over a year.
And it said "wrong username or password", even though everything was right.

It's possible, I recall fixing your status bar a while back. I also fixed a few that I noticed were showing up as duplicates for other members. So if there was a conflict with this also causing login errors then that would explain the problems. We should be upgrading to a newer version of VBulletin sometime in the future, so any and all errors relating to these matters should be fixed in the revised and updated version.
