What is a Usergroup?

And why are they needed on the ARCADE?

Sorry im just new here so i need an explanation

There are several usergroups on AO, and they are all determined by your participation and how long you have been a member here.

Registered Member
-Simply by registering, this is your initial usergroup.
Community Member
-Achieved after 30 days AND 100 posts.
Elite Member
-Achieved after 150 days AND 500 posts.
Veteran Member
-Achieved after 365 days AND 1000 posts.

Different Usergroups give you access to parts of the site, and more privileges.

You have to be a community member to access the arcade.
