I tried to make a post in the Cyber Lounge thread, "I just felt like sharing this", and got a message saying my post wouldn't be visible until a mod looked over it for "approval".
I posted in another thread to see if that was common practice now, however in the other thread I saw my post right away.
So what gives? All of a sudden AO can just silence whoever they want before they get a chance to speak?
Yes, it can. It wasn't my doing and since I have no access to fix it there's nothing I can do to stop it. It was added to combat the ad-bots that were running rampant all over the board, but the mod itself is largely stupid it would seem and randomly has issues telling the difference between a valid post and an ad-bot post.
that sucks i had the problem a few weeks ago bit it happened only once so im not to worried about it but maybe someone will fix it one day that is able to

My suggestion is to brush up on your grammar and punctuation and avoid sounding "bottish"...
I'm new and this had happened to me three times already... I was starting to think that my account is broken, until I found this! lol. Does the post ever get reviewed and posted? Or do it disappear for good, lost in cyberland? The second one would be a shame, because I had written a cool post for the "spoiler talk" post. Nyaa... u_u
yeah this happened to me on a debate and discuss thread, I didn't even use a link or anything.

YEAH, it's weird, I didn't use a link on other posts either... It seems like it's very random on which posts it chooses to send to mod or not. I'm just glad that it wasn't just me! I though I was doing something wrong. XD
