Thread: Why does AO seem so empty?

I guess you haven't heard summer is here and school has just ended. So people are busy doing thing away from home. Like vacations, summer jobs, hanging with friends all day, and so on.

Other people might be in the midst of their exams as well.

there are few hardcore AO members like my self who are here when
they can get the chance i really haven't noticed the change in
pace really it , though i don't really look at the people more than i
do the threads so it is always active in my opinion

Well im usally posting when i m here or P.Ming.when i m not here i m doing something that involves AO like searching for avatars,sigs.ect.But most people have exams looking for lobs and other things.

Not everyone has as much time to get on during the summer as they normally would at other times. The summer is the time to travel and if you don't have a laptop its hard to get on here. As for the RPG forum some people are not interested in it. The forums are defintily alive, have you seen how many threads we have? But everyone is busy. But most of us are still active. I'm here almost everyday.

you'd be surprised at howmany people have only used the Pm system rather than posting.(had a friend who did for a long time before she started posting).

personally im glad people are gone, they need the sunlight and exercise.

You would think it would be more active during the summer months..or that's how it's been on other forums. Maybe this trend has changed since most members are getting older and going off to college among other things.
