    ca~lii~la~~la~~

    *goes to get some DP*
*slowly drinks while watching Ace of Cakes on Food Network*
    *watches Darling sleep*

    oh! hey guys! what's up?

so, today was filled with a lot of science... first Geology class, then a science show about a really smart dude (he learned Icelandic, the agreed upon world's hardest language to learn ever, in one week), then a show about the last years of Einstein and how he went insane... ^_^ then an episode of Dexter's Lab (a fave show of mine, now and as a child)

*watches more Ace of Cakes, and drinks more Dr Pepper*

so yeah, lots of science today...
but Abu has a very simple mind, so stuff like string theory and the hadron collider and mass and whatever doesn't have much bearing on

    *more Cakes and DP*

her everyday life, thoughts, or religious beliefs...

oh, the Hadron Collider isn't a black hole machine according to the teacher m'n...

    um...
    yeah...

oh, and scratching rocks is really boring...

Abu really hates scratching rocks together.

I just have a problem with the sizes and shapes of the rocks, making it near impossible to scratch some together... I get the feeling we got the crappy shaped ones, and I really wish they had bigger ones.

I can manage to pass my time by rubbing rocks together. =]
OH! I like the shiny, smooth, greenish ones you find in the rivers up in the snowy mountains; I remembered collecting 10 kgs [around 29 pounds?] of those rocks.
But then again, I was 10.

THey just looked so ... good. o_o

If my brain weren't fried from those darn tetrahedrons, I would probably classify what kind of rock it was and probably tell you about the mountain deposits around it.

......what can I say? The teacher got us hooked on classifying rocks and minerals, and then identifying the entire system around it.

Hell, the teacher did an amazing job at explaining on how Diamonds are actually worthless. ...though, it didn't affect me that much because I still love Rubies.
...which is part of the corundum family, of which sapphire also belongs to.
Though it does look ugly when not polished or having a brown tint.

I'm a huge fan of rubies. LOVE EM.

^_^ his enthusiasm for the class helps to keep it interesting...

but rock-rubbing is beyond my thinking, so it's really hard to stay interested...

Try breaking the smooth, oval shaped ones with your fingers. Helps relieve stress.
