Twitter ain't so bad. It doesn't require tons of jibbering and gabbering like other social sites that DEMAND you to post something.
It's probably the most chill of all the social sites out there.

I don't have one... mainly because my posts become humongous at times...

Twitter has its uses, I honestly don't post much on my own twitter, but I have the artists of my favorite webcomics on my watch list (Questionable Content, Punch'n'Pie, Applegeeks, Megatokyo), which allows me to know when comics are posted with out actually going to the site to see (Saves time)

Now, I would understand if you don't want people to know your Twitter, and thats ok, but could you tell me your twitter account (in pm if need be) ? *twitch*

Ah right! Like aceman said, you can follow others and it's a great shortcut.
On Abu's twitter, I follow Amazon for great deals on video games (they have great deals), a webcomic artist or two, a few blog sites, and a few favorite flash artists here and there.

So yeah... twitter's got a use.
And if you're really obsessed with gaming, you could even connect some games to twitter to post your most recent achievements in them. ...I think that's silly, but to each their own.

Speaking of sharing twitters, Abu wonders if you're willing to share yours with her. ;P

I think I'm getting the hang of it

well, I'm either going to overuse it with useless tweets...or hardly use it at all...what could possible go wrong xD

I have been known to use Twitter for some stupid reasons..... ie keeping tabs on my favorite bands and people (Stalkerish I know)
