no, just no. I have never been called a 'Sheila' and I hardly ever hear 'bloke'. I have been called 'mate' on a few times though.
So I guess Oprah is going to see Australia through the eyes of corporate sponsorship....
I am now thoroughly convinced that McCafes are hip joints in Australia.
I will now travel there, enter a McCafe, and call everyone a bloke and sheila.
I will then schedule a company meeting there.
I hope to see all of Australia inside a McCafe very soon.

oh, so thats what it is. I'm just glad that that type of mcdonald's would never work in Canada.
Canadians already have a Coffee shop that is such a part of Canadian culture that nothing will over top it: Tim Hortons.
Yeah, McCafe, really isn't as big as they probably making it out to be. Sure, if I happen to be having breakky or something at McDonalds, I would use the McCafe. Usually during road trips lol
We do have the coffee big chains like Gloria Jeans & the Coffee Club, but the popular ones are the small local coffee shops, and the better coffee imo
